I just recently installed a set of gt40y heads and it runs really good but my idle is really high and I cant get it to go down.There is no surging and will idle perfect all day just idles at about 1500 rpms.I pulled the oil filler cap off and it was sucking so hard it was like pulling off a big magnet.Its pulling a hella vacuum and the idle went right down.What would cause this?I read another thread where this happened to someone else and they said there distributor was off.Once they got it right it fixed it.Could timing affect that?I had no problems with this before the head swap.Just looking for ideas.
