hey guys..
i have a 96 GT. it still has stock headers, and the stock 6 (yes 6) freakin cats, i was wondering if anyone knows if an x-pipe is direct bolt on, or do i have to weld it in place and have it be permanent? thanks

there are some x-pipes out there that work with stock exhaust manifolds. I know BBK offers them in off road form (no cats) or with high flow cats.

go with the UPR O/R x-pipe... its a direct bolt on and doesnt consist of any welding so you can take it out if need be, plus they sound real good(best bang for buck). my personal opinion would be to stay away from the bbk x-pipes because a lot of people have have issues with the flanges on them. dr.gas x-pipes are also real nice and have heard nothing but good things about them, you can also look into mac h-pipes or possibly their prochamber
