And what vehicles would you get them from?

only 94+ as far as I know.
Trucks and e-vans are probably good candidates.
I know other people on here have alot more info, try a search.

Ok..

MOST 94 and newer windsors were roller cam capable.. meaning they had the lifter valley drilled and tapped for a roller cam..

HOWEVER.. the ironic thing is that ford put flat tappet cams in Lightnings but put ROLLER cams in the 3/4 tons FACTORY:confused:

They also were capable in the somewhat scarce 1/2 ton P.U's BUT i have never had one of those apart so i can't say if they actually had the roller in them or if they had a flat tappet like the lightnings

The blocks that first appeared that had provisions for hydraulic roller cams started with casting number F4TE(1994 casting and later).

So, any 351w from '94 and up will be roller cam compatible? (It doesn't matter if it has a flat tappet or roller cam installed in it, I'd be ditching the stock cam either way I'm just basically looking for the bare block, so, as long as it has the provisions for a hyd roller...................)
