Casting number???

 

we need the cast # cant tell u without seeing it (the cast number)

 

Look on the bottom side of the block, on the side the starter is. Should be there .

 

there is nothing there. Im a Ford parts guy buy trade...........No one one this site has these #s in there lifter galley???

 

I picked up a 351W today and I cant find anywhere what this block is. Its a non-roller motor and the only thing it says in the lifter galley is 351 WCP 19 Anyone??

all those tell you is it is

351W made at the windsor casting plant.


the cast numbers will be on the bottom of the block.

i guess it is possible for a service replacement engine not to have a date code/cast number.

 

Thos say it was cast in the windsor casting plant from mold #19 and was destined as a 351. you will have to turn the block over to see the casting # it will be next to the oil pan rail on the starter side of the block

 

Never seen a block that did not have the casting numbers on it............ service replacement or not.

Well A$$HOLE the person I got this motor off of hit the motor with a grinder and smothed out the block.

why would you want a weak-suck-thin block...?????


the EARLY THICK BLOCKS did NOT have the ......."WCP"......designation or casting marks.......
























.......if you were a REAL "ford parts guy",
