You need to peel back the lining in the trunk. You'll see two nuts that attach to the reflector. Take those off, and the reflector will drop out.
I've had a few off and they weren't accessed through the trunk that way.

There are a few screws along the wheel-well opening to remove and like the above post mentioned you'll need to access the 2 11mm nuts in the trunk that hold the bumper to the quarterpanel. That''ll allow you to pull that side of the bumper away from the body and then you can get access to the studs for the reflector. I believe they are either 10mm or 11mm in size for the nuts.

I got mine from the local ford dealer and costed like 11$

which really isn't that bad of a price

to remove it is simply pryed it out with a pliers and a screwdriver
it will eventually break so the studs are broke off in the bumper and you just have to push them through

and no i didn't damage my bumper

have fun!

Let me put a few pointers out there and explain how I did this on my '95 GT. The first thing I did was to remove the 4 main retaining screws that held in the carpet, two on the piece on the very back with a phillips type design head and two that you can unscrew with your thumbs. After that, remove the black baffle that covers the trunk latch bar by removing the 4 plastic clips (these are fairly long so keep at 'em). Remove the plastic baffle along with the large piece of carpet at the back. From here you can fold back the left (or right) side carpet to reveal two nuts which hold the bumper. I believe these are 10mm and remove them. After that, there are two phillips head screws just on the inside of the tire well, and one plastic retainer clip at the very bottom of the bumper on the farthest forward part of the bumper (closest to the tire). Once these are removed the bumper should be able to be pulled out far enough to get your tools in there to remove the two metal pieces (one on each part of the reflector). These are for sure 10mm, and without a slightly deep socket with an angle can take a few minutes to get off. FIRST! Before attempting to pop in the new reflector and threading it in the bumper, thread it in your hands first. This will save you a large headache and potential replacement of the reflector (again). Finally after you have secured your new reflector into place, return the bumper to it's original position. Before installing any screws, nuts, etc. check to make sure that the two bolts go back into their designated holes in the trunk and secure them first. That makes the rest of the holes line up properly. Hope this can save you all some time on installing a new reflector!
