Buy or rent and Eastwood fender roller and a heat gun. The process is pretty simple but you need to take your time. I have done all 4 of my cars. The last one I did took me about 4 hours start to finish. I got in a bit of a hurry, didn't heat the paint enough and cracked it in several places under the rear fender lip. The car has been repainted so that could have contributed to the cracking.

 

Go on youtube and type it in theres alot of videos showing different ways. The eastwood tool is about the cleanest way and can be rented for $50 for like 3 days, try searching on ebay for the tool rental if thats the route you go.

 

best way to do it is have SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THERE DOING do the job...its not worth the risk to do it yourelf with no exp..pay the 100 bucks and be done with it.

I've been rolling fender for over 15 years, its not the tool, its the experience and knowing how to use the tool that counts.

 

its not rocket science. pretty easy esp with the tool. but then both cars I did were getting painted after so chipping the paint didnt matter and didnt take any paint chipping precautions either time. I dont think the paint would be 100% strength afterwards even if you did do it right.

 

I need to roll my fenders as well. Might just use the old Baseball bat method.

BTW I am new, not sure if there is a Introduction thread if someone could point me in the right direction.
