What pushrods and rocker arms should I use in my 5.0. Edelbrock heads with 6025 & 7198 stamped on them. Car has ford racing X303 cam. Current rocker arms and pushrods damaged due to previous owner installing them incorrectly or using wrong size. Don't want to make the same mistake.

Prob. because previous owner asked on the internet what length push rods he/she needed.

You MUST measure yourself. No way around it.

make sure you use either a hydraulic lifter temporarily converted to solid for checking purposes, AND/OR soft "checking" valve springs... otherwise you will never get an accurate measurement with a normal hyd lifter cuz it will push down on the plunger and give you a false reading

Wound up using new r302 lifters, stock length pushrods, scorpion endurance rockers, and the thin shim on all. Had professionally set up for peace of mind. Compression 155-160 on all cylinders. Now stock valve covers hit rocker arms. Ordered tall valve covers and intake spacer. Anyone have any comments on this set up? What kind of power can I expect? 306, forged pistons, Edelbrock performer heads and intake, x303 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, precision75mm TB, 24lb injectors,hi flow fuel rails, adj regulator, 155 lph pump, BBK cold air, BBK shorty headers, off road h pipe, egr delete, T5, 3:73 gears, 90 vert, m/t drag radials. Any thoughts on changes I can make to improve performance ?

After chasing down multiple gremlins in the wiring system (10 pin connector, a broken injector plug, dirty ground to injector harness, bad connection on incoming wires to the coil, cleaned every ground on the car and replaced all the vacuum lines and PVC valve the car runs great! Smooth idle, cold A/C, did base idle reset and even the check engine light went off! ALL THANKS TO THINGS I READ ON THIS FORUM.....
