New IAC and Cobra still won't idle!

I just installed a new IAC and the car still won't drop the rpm's to 850-900. I disconnected the battery for about a day and hooked everything up and ... The car wants to idle at 1300 unless I stab the gas and then it drops quickly to 1000 rpm. If I slowly let off the gas, the rpm's only drop to 1300. What else could be wrong?? Do I just need to drive it some and let the computer adjust to the new iac??

Thanks.

Have you changed anything on you car?

Clean the pro-m probe with electrical contact cleaner (radio shack or autozone).

Check for vaccume leaks.

Pull throttle lever on the TB closed and listen do the RPMs drop?

Check the voltage on the TPS sensor reference the middle wire.

If the PCM has been moved the connectors need to be cleaned.

Using a OBD2 scanner check and see what the TPS % is durring a high RPM idle (done by the car not you) compair to a normal idle.

I have hear of some people drilling out the holes that mount the TPS to give just enough adjusting room.
