Has anyone here installed the long tubes from stainless works? They are the 1-7/8" ones. I bought a set and just have them sitting in my garage because I can't seem to find a video or write up on installing them. Would like to at least see a video of what all is involved before I start tearing it down. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Went ahead and installed these yesterday. They were pretty simple! You have to disconnect the the steering shaft, and remove the starter, and motor mounts. I took a few pictures, but if you watch the CJ Pony video of them installing them on a 12' GT, its pretty much the same thing. Sounds way better with my Gibson catback exhaust on it. Picks up speed really good, and need better tires now if I want to get some good tractions. Installed a Bama tune for the long tubes, catback, and air raid CAI.

I bet it sounds a lot meaner :livid: with long tubes and full exhaust. cant wait til i get mine. and stainless works makes one of thew best headers for our mustangs.

Did you get the catted or off-road long tubes? Keep us posted on your install

It's all installed in the car now. Sounds way better. I did the off road with no cats. We don't do emissions where I live. Got a tune from Bama, and haven't had any problems with it so far. Will be taking it to have it dynoed on the 24th of this month. Will post numbers after. Car has more power in it, gonna talk to my tuner when I get there to see if he can squeeze a little more out of it.

keep us posted. With long tubes, full exhaust, CAI, set of drag radials, and a tune, you should be running low 12s, probably 11s. I believe bama did it with just those mods plus half shafts and some weight reduction, but they ended up breaking something on their third run after they hit 11.2 i believe. Amazing for just some bolt ons. The new mustangs are SICKKKKK:)

Yeah, sounds pretty badass for sure! Are you using cats with your long tubes? I'm going to the dyno this weekend, so I will post those next week. The tune could be more aggressive, but its a safe BAMA tune, so I'm sure there is more in it once I get it retuned.

It runs very "fat"!! I see it drop to 9.5-11.0 @ WOT and could use some more timing in it for sure!

Well got the car put on the Dyno this past weekend. It was a Winter Dyno Drags event, so no tuning was done as there were a lot of cars. They did 2 pulls on my car. Result was 412rwhp and 390rwtq on a Dyno Jet at 6200' above sea level.

No before numbers. The dyno is a 3.5 hour drive, so it's a good little drive to get to.
