Headlight problems

to start, a while back I started having some issues where my headlights would not come on at all. Found out it was the turnsignal switch and replaced it and it worked fine. Wel now the regular headlights come on, but if I switch to brights the one on the drivers side goes bright and passenger side goes off completely. Its not the bulb because I checked it with a new one and same thing.

What is it? a fuse, the switch on the gauge cluster, a relay?

tia for any help

93 gt (fog lights work fine)

Since you replaced multifunction switch, and new bulb, and one side works and the other one doesn't, it must be a poor connection somewhere. Can't be the fuse, there is no relay, unlikely to be headlamp switch or both sides would go off.
