In response to Shawn

Shawn,

It makes no sense to sell it as a roller when the rolling chassis is worth what I am asking for the whole car.

Do yourself a favor. Look at the car and see if you aren't convinced that you could buy it for 16K, sell the drive train, and basically be stealing the chassis for a very low price.

I paid $9000 for the car in street trim, then spent over 10K on the chassis alone. It needs nothing, and is in great shape.

Think about just the roller for a moment:

Chromoly cage done properly (you have to remove the windshield, cut the roof off, install the cage through the floor and connect it to the subframe connectors, then gut and fit the dash)

F.A.S.T. system with all sensors and injectors

K member, coil overs, struts, a arms, rack, etc

Aerospace brakes x4

Anti Roll bar, upper and lower control arms, bushings, axles, gears, wheels and tires

Complete fuel system with weldon pump, braided lines, etc

The powdercoated fuel/water cell was $750 alone

Plus a million little interior customizations to make it proper (flattened the trunk, rear seat delete, airbag cover, transmission hump cover, dash trim pieces, etc)

Perfect black interior (all the bezels and door handle components are brand new), fiberglass hood, etc.

I could go on and on. Bottom line, you couldn't even buy the parts to do the work yourself for what I'm asking. It is a giveaway, and you can go racing tomorrow. It took months assemble all the parts and get the work done.

Not trying to convince you of anything (the car itself will do that once you see it), just offering some insight into building a car like this.

Take care and good luck,

Rick (Florida) 239-825-8069

Removalble steering wheel, hand fabricated interior pieces that look very professional

I have receipts to back up this conversation.

Lots of response!!!

Thanks!

Here is a list of more parts on the car that I simply didn't mention:
Aluminum radiatior, camber/caster plates, trans cooler, intercooler, aluminum catch cans, blow off valve for supercharger, MSD distrubutor, MSD ignition box with two step, vortech billet fuel rails, FAST data logger, Autometer gauges, Painless wiring system, on/off switch on the back of the car, differential cover, spool, Moser axles (can't remember but I think 33 spline).

There are other parts too. I can't remember them all.

I have two inquiries who are very serious, so please do not hesitate to contact me soon.

Important notice from the seller:

Interested parties, this car is not street legal, nor will it ever be. It is a race car built from a water damaged V-6 with 10,001 miles on it, hence the new black interior. It has an Alabama salvage title. No bank will loan you money to buy this car. It is a race car, a toy, that is not insurable as far as I know. Just like a car built from a "body in white." Please know these facts before you inquire.

As indicated in the above post, the car does indeed have a valid Alabama salvage title. I suppose about the only use for a title on a car like this would perhaps be to check the history of the car and prove that it isn't stolen. Can you think of any other purpose for the title? Transfer of ownership of a car like this would involve a bill of sale from owner to buyer, and signing the title over to the new owner. There was no way to register the car in Florida, since it isn't street legal. Besides, who wants to pay taxes on a car like this? Nobody. Thanks for your interest.

You can post pix of your potential trades, but it probably is a bit of a long shot. I'm usually pretty specific about what I want.

the car CAN be titled in states other then florida. banks will loan you money for it, but it will show up as a 2000 v6 and they will loan you money accordingly. you could take the car to kentucky and titled it there to wash the title and get a clean title as well. but that is after it has been inspected.
