I'm re doing some bodywork that an awful awful Ford body shop did for me. They call all the work they did "acceptable" and cant do anything more :curses:

Anyways, i'm working on trying to fix the door/fender gap on the driver side. Its a lot bigger than the passenger. What do i need to do to adjust this gap? Ive loosened the 3 bolts on the top of the fender and loosened the bolts from the header panel also. What else do i need to get at to be able to slide the fender back towards the rear just a tad?

Not sure on the New Edge cars...but there may be a bolt hidden about halfway up the side of the car, right where the fender and door meet. You can see it through the wheel-well, or through the door when the door is open. Look behind the top hinge.

That's a bummer that the shop did that to you...hopefully there is room for adjustment.

There's ALWAYS room for adjustment, even if it entails you slotting some bolt holes. If you want it done right, I guess you need to do it yourself. A good way to measure the gaps is a paint stir stick. That's what I did when fixing the HUGE gaps in my fiberglass fenders.
