Do you need a t-rex inline if you have a 255 lph high pressure intank?

I see that the t-rex is listed at 190lph. If you have a 255lph "high pressure" Walbro gss-342 then what would be the purpose of the t-rex? Could the t-rex even possibly even slow down the volume and/or pressure?

Thanks in advance for any input--

Yup, no need for T-rex, if you put the 255 Walbro in the gastank.
Make sure you get the high-output Walbro 255, I think there may be more than one 255lph pump.

I bought mine as part of a kit from Lidio @ AlternativeAuto.com . He knows what he is doing also. Works fine for 8# boost on stock motor, and made 330rwhp... One PULLER in-tank and one PUSHER T-Rex inline.
My problem was after I got tto the 440rwhp, that was about all it would support. FInally, added a bigger cam and 42# injectors, and shooting for 500+rwhp. It ran out of fuel. Got the (micorscopically) larger SN95 fuel rail, and removed the T-rex (left 255-in-tank), and fuel was no longer an issue.
Thats MY story.

So Darius,
You didn't change any lines or anything? Just the rails and the intank 255? I'm wondering about that myself right now. Just put a Vortech on the 351 car and am debating about the inline (I know Saleen never used an Inline when they had their S351 cars)

To answer your question directly. It depends on your horsepower range. One Walbro 255 just might be enough, however, here is what I found out recently and here's the combination:

Stock rails, stock lines, 42# injectors, Walbro 255 inline, Walbro 255 intank

Back in December we dyno'd my car (remember that it's an automatic) and we found that right around 450rwhp the car started to run very lean and the stock lines, injectors, etc just weren't enough.

I've heard of folks running stock lines, rails, and 42's with this setup through 5 speed cars in excess of 500rwhp, however, I wasn't that lucky.

P.S. In my humble opinion, the T-Rex is a piece of junk.

Just out of curiousity, why do you think it's a piece of junk?
Had a few of them fail and leave me stranded.
