The 98 motors use plastic IMRCs but besides that there are no real differences. These is an urban legend that the 98 computers have a more aggressive tune but I don't think it has ever really been proven. I have a 98 intake on my 96 motor using the 96 harness with no problems.
i just need to know if i could get a 96-98 harness and computer its all goingt o be tuned anyway i just heard someone that had one for sale and i thought they sais it was for a 98 only
Do more checking. I've always heard that there were different pin locations for some wires between the two. I think 96 and 97 were the same, but 98 was different.
its for a 66 mustang conversion so im not sure what sensor i would need anyways plus i have the injector harness i need from the square conector with the bolt to the computor
thanks for the help
