so far 13.3 @ 103 with a crappy 1.9 60' with combo in sig. below,bone stock suspension(original 1992 shocks/struts lol)
full dress convertible(minus a/c and smog stuff) weighs 3560lbs with me in it..would be quicker if i could drive it better
should hit high 12's with some stickier tires and some more practice

Full weight 95 GT (3500+lbs. with driver) = 13.1@105 1.8 60ft. on drag radials. Went a mid 1.7 60ft. next run and then missed 3rd gear :curses: so the car should be capable of 12.80's-12.90's. Setup is stock shortblock, 64cc GT40X heads, E303, & Edelbrock Performer.

Edit: Just realized you said full weight fox bodies....my mistake

Okay guys, Here is the reason I ask these questions. I am taking my car to the track tomorrow night and it is the first time for the car and the first time for me in 14 years and that was an 1/8 mile track. I have done these mods to car and have tried to leave the rest of car original. That includes leaving air. I did remove all smog stuff. I read a lot of info when building this car and I wanted to do it right. Planning supercharger or nitrous later on down the road. I am hoping to run a 12.5 Are my hopes to high? I have also added a msd 2 step to control my launch. Plan on heating up tires really good and launching at around 4500 rpm. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks

you cant just assume 4500 rpm launch is going to work. you gotta trial and error it until you know for a fact thats the best rpm to launch at for you 60' then tune your 2 step accordingly.

lets us know how it runs!

Your car should easily be capable of 12.50's or better. The crate engine that you have is essentially the exact same engine I have in my 95, aside from your heads being ported. Since your car is a notch it is obviously much lighter than mine and your suspension is setup more towards drag racing where I have a handling setup. If my 3500+lbs. car with unported heads can run 105mph, I'd say your car is easily capable of running 110mph or so and low 12's.

Thanks for your feedback and I guess we will find out tomorrow. I will let you know what happens. Everyone please keep posting their numbers or feel free to guess my 1/4 mile times. Thanks

Just a little more info. Car has 41,000 miles on it. All mods done in the last 2 years. Motor has approx: 1200 miles on it

I have a 90 fox hatch and it's at 3300 with me in it...loaded with a/c still working...stock(e7's unported) long block except 1.7 rockers and explorer intake. My best is 12.82@105 on et streets

I think you would pickup with more gear...12.5's should not be a problem if you can drive and 60'

Didnt make it down last wedesday, weather sucked. But planning on going on the 29th. This is last test and tune of the season. You are right about planning on a 4500 rpm launch. Seems to work on the street. But street and track are very different. I heard some guys with stock motor stangs launch as high as 5500 rpms on the track.

I went 10.80's at 126 and 128 with edelbrock rpm stuff on a stock short block and a 200 shot. no ac or power steering though. in an 89 convertible with a tube k member and 275 mickey thompsons. all the power seats and power widows and top still in it. battery in the trunk.
