Which head gaskets? 5.0 w/ GT40Ps, Novi1k

So I figure if I'm swapping to GT-40P heads, I might as well get new head gaskets. Besides the heads, I have a Novi1000 blower. Any recommendations?

Will the old gaskets be as painful as the 18 year old intake gaskets to remove? Took me several hours with scrapers, brushes, and paint stripping pads to get those bitches off.

Will regular old ARP head bolts do the trick?

You want those heads as clean as possible. dont know if GT40Ps use a different head gasket than the regular GT40 but i just installe dthe Fel Pro 1011-2 headgaskets and i would definately throw on some ARP studs with the blower. I did.

I wouldn't bother with head studs for such a mild application. Standard ARP head bolts will work just fine so long as you have it tuned well. I always recommend Fel-pro 1248 pt 2, available at Autozone. I've run them in my blown and nitrous applications with great luck. The key has always been in the tune. A bad tune will destroy the best head gasket in an instant, especially in boosted apps.

fel pro 9333pt1's or 8548pt2's

You can use ARP bolts..

I will never run boosted again w/o studs, and one of the gskts above.
(well, i might try the MLS fel-pros.. but, man their a bit pricey)

make sure you cut the heads for a flat surface..
