Looking for the old school look. I love the racestar bigs and littles but I am concerned about the 17 x4.5 on a street car. Anyone ever ust the 17x7 on the front and 15x8 on back. This will be on a 2013 track pack car (brembos).

Thanks

I run the Weld RT-S wheels with the 17x4.5 in the front and 15x10 in the rear all the time on the street. But my car is not a daily driver. There's a huge weight savings going with the 17x4.5 up front. But the 17x7 will be more streetable for sure.

Anyone running a 15" front and rear on the 2011 mustang GT ? I was under the impression that a 15" wheel wouldn't clear in the front but one of the guys at latemoded restoration said there SVE drag wheels fit the non brembo cars. I'm interested in possibly purchasing the drag pack they sell. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to running a15" or 17" front wheel ?

A 15" wheel will not clear the front brakes with the Weld RT-S wheels nor the Racestars. I'm willing to bet the SVE drag wheels are the same thing. And this goes for Brembo cars and non Brembo cars. To run a 15" wheel in the front you have to change the brakes to 2010 and earlier brakes. The reason you would go with 15" front wheels are weight savings. But this is the reason most run the 17/15 wheel combo.

I also am running the Darkstar 17x4.5 up front with 15x10 out back. Granted I do not drive mine everyday. The wider wheels would be "better" for an everyday driver.
