I know the big nut is 72-98 ft lbs. What do you all torque the bolts that hold the mounts to the block down to? I really REALLY don't want to strip the block or break a bolt at this point.

The correct torque will change depending what grade of bolts you're using. If all of the threads are in good shape King Kong would have a tough time stripping them.

Those bolts are rather large, 50ft.lbs. would be very good for them. The torque spec are based on bolt size mainly.

Check out a cam plate retaining bolt. Those are grade 8 and about 1/4" in size. Those can easily be twisted off, they only need about 8-10ft.lbs. I believe.
