I have a 1992 with a 1987 331 stroker, it is a speed density engine with a T-5. I did not own the car when it was stroked so I really have no idea as to what was done to it for sure. I am in need of a clutch/pressure plate and flywheel. My question is what flywheel is normally used on a 331 stroker. I have been told that it should be a 28oz is this correct? Can they have a 50oz. Should I just wait and see what is on the car to tell for sure before I order one?

Thanks for your help.

take a look at the harmonic balancer. Way easier to get at and it should be marked/stamped with the weight.

x25 on the aluminum flywheel. Don't listen to the retards on here who've never even seen an aluminum flywheel much less driven with one. If you can swing the money it's well worth the price unless your car spends 99% of the time at the drag strip. In that situation buy an automatic anyways.
