Am I the only one to have the brass fitting that squirts oil into vortech blower break? I would think not since the first item on their link for all oil system components (that includes oil coolers/filters) says " replacement oil feed nossles". The fitting it $48.95 plus 1 LB shipping. Just wondering how common these failures are? Maybe im just bummed about mine breaking , but I have a bud who offered to machine piece out of steel. After seeing what Vortech wants I may take him up. I definately dont want to waste $55+ on a part that may fail again. Any input appreciated , thanks ,dave

That is a very, very common failure....Paxton and Vortech. And trust me, it doesn't take much for them to crack at the base. After hearing about others with the same problem, I checked mine and sure enough it had a hairline fracture so I went ahead and replaced it.

I think Supercharger Online sells a stainless version, albeit expensive. It's a better alternative to the brass fitting.
