I have a 414w 11:1 comp victor 7721 heads ported cammotion SR 736/736 272/282 cam planing to turn it to 7800ish im entertaining the idea of running a 2828 converted to EFI anyone running a victor glidden 2828 EFI
IS did the injector bungs on my chi 4.0, they did an excellent job, and the price was very fair. I supplied the fuel rails.Check with Steve from Induction Solutions. If he can weld up killer nitrous fogger kits, I'm sure he can do injectors.
The CHI is very tall. If i could do it all over i would have went with the 2828. The CHI was a hassle to ship, took like 3 or 4 months to get it, and the shipping cost was nuts. I could measure from the valley plate to the top of the carb pad, if you do a search on yellowbullet there are guys that have the numbers. The intake was pretty tall. With a 11" dia 3.5" tall filter, a 5.5" cervini hood still wouldnt clear the lid. I ended up cutting a hole in my 3.5" hood, but i think this winter i am going to mill the intake down and try to get the filter under the hood. The only reason i cut the hood was because that was all that was holding me back from dragweek and i didnt want to take the intake off days before leaving for the event.Whats the carb pad height on the chi 4.0 compared to the 2828?
That water crossover is designed for a cleveland head, to make it work you would need a 90° NPT fitting with the hose barb on the other side which are not possible to use on these intake because they cannot be tightened down without the hose barb crashing into the intake runner. I tried that option and it didnt work.
