Ok, bear with me here..
I will be running Hooker 6227 Longtube headers and was planning on a 3" Dr Gas X-pipe and Ultraflow muffs. I'm very big on having a quiet exhaust and i know this setup wont be. I was browsing the summit catalog (on the toilet, where i do my best thinking
) and i came across the Race magnum mufflers and an idea popped into my head...
It looks like like you could weld a 3 bolt flange to the race magnums no problem. How about running 3" race magnums bolted right to the header collectors then adapting a dr gas x-pipe to it? Would this work? Seems like it would really quiet the system down and still flow gobs of air..
Am i crazy, or does anyone think it just might work?
