the bring the torque band down, but make more torque. good for power, not for horsepower.

 

i cant imagine it doing anything. an intake spacer might and they're only 50 bucks

 

lengthening the intake track will have the most effect when it moves the upper plenum away from the engine. This provides a longer runner for air to be forced into the engine at the end of the intake cycle.

lengthening at the throttle body is further from the engine and before the plenum, drastically reducing the 'inertia effects' that we all hear about.
