Ummm yes you have other issues. A fan that’s not even remotely close to fitting the radiator is going to make things worse.

If you’re dead set on fan replacement, look at the Lincoln mkz duel fan. It should fit much better than what you’re trying to do and destroys contour fans.

Didn't realize the SN radiator was so much shorter than a fox radiator.

As I'm sure you already know, the shroud needs to be completely sealed against the face of the radiator. Some creative sheet metal work is going to be in order.

Yes a pretty long one, and the sealing and air diverters discussed. Literally everything new including the world products block. 3rd radiator now (Cold Case) bypassed the computer even with temp controlled relays for low and high speed, 375 cu in turbocharged 15 psi boost. Tried water wetter even. Tried 16/180 and back to 192 degree thermostats, good 16lb. rad cap. Just can't run AC (new compressor and dryer) or she skyrockets here in the desert.

 

Is that radiator out of an sn95 car? Every picture i have seen of installing a mark8 fan had maybe an inch of over hang on the fan. Something in your picture looks way off.

 

yes it is. The Mark VIII fan is 3"s larger in diameter

 

Would it be possible to fit that mark viii motor onto the stock mustang shroud and blades?

 

possible, but the motor is probably the same RPM just more torque to spin the bigger fan. So no net gain in flow.

 

What temperature are you seeing that is giving you concern?

 

Witgout AC it hoves around 200-210 driving around town. (200ish on the freeway) With the AC on she will immediately start to rise, and just a few minutes it's 236 and I have to shut it off.

 

What temperature do you have the high speed fan coming on?
And, does high speed immediately engage when the AC is turned on regardless of temperature? (In your tune)

 

The fan runs through the stock CCRM and the hi speed comes on with the AC.

 

the ccrm can develope issues and the high speed fan might not be coming on. Have you checked?
