No Sir......Gonna be a V-8 of some sort........not sure if its going to be a push rod motor or a Modular.....Looking at a 97- Cobra now for all the conversion......

NICE! Thats pretty sick. After driving my 88 ttop car around, I swear by ttops. They are so nice! I get a TON of comments on them too! Good luck with it! Keep us posted!

I haven't fully decided yet....I will stay Four Eyed....but I am up in the air with these Three..

84 GT
85 GT

very nice find! i wish my notch was t-top...maybe 1 day i'll convert it hmmm

#15 ·
WOW you have got to keep the fourEye frontend on it, either way awesome find!!!!!

#19 ·
Good luck on the build. Your lucky that you don't have all the rust we had to deal with on our 84 ttop coupe. Being pretty rust free ought to cut your build time in half.

#20 ·
no doubt....one reason I went with this car. I only wish I had your craftsman ship.

I will update this weekend but hopefully I have a deal closed on a 32valve Cobra engine setting in a Fox notch with all the stuff needed to do the swap we shall see.

hey man I was talking with wayne at boosted yesterday and he said you had bought a t-top notch, it looks like its going to be a fun project! I will have one, oneday to sit beside my 86 coupe. you should do what im doing in the coupe 5.4 4v with a carb high compression with a big shot on it. by the way your mystichrome cobra is sick!

#23 ·
I honestly thought about doing a carb Mod motor.......Didn't know they knew I picked one up yet....

I hope to get the Cobra back this week!

Yea it looks okay...but I am a Coupe Guy all the way around so it will stay with out ground effects

#29 ·
I think it would look better with the '87-'93 quarter windows.

T-Top cars had no door frames, so the front door glass perimeter looks very "clean"... then you get to that pre-'87 quarter window and there are a million lines and surfaces. Just doesn't match.

Got a few parts today..

Heres the 86GT Nose Cone, Yes the orginally GT Fog Lights, Mounting Bar, Fenders, Rear Bumper Cover, Taillights, Door Mouldings and GT mouldings, also got me some grey T top trim pieces and the GT Syle Bezel. I got to go back and get the dash console and few other things.....but overall not a bad day...Just threw it up on there to see it......

Oh yea....no rust on the door post either......
