Met up with a corraller last night and bought some parts from him to upgrade the brakes on my 86 GT. Gunna lay out what parts I have and would like some input from folks who have done this already. Yes I have done a good bit of reading on the net already to as what all I need but asking for a 5th opinion never hurts before buying stuff.

Anyway I have:

2 front rotors from a 95GT
2 front calipers from the same 95GT w/ the short little rubber brake lines coming off the caliper, and the connector that is next w/ the rest of the brake line cut off
2 dust shields ( going in the garbage )

2 rear rotors off a 98 GT
2 rear calipers off a 98 GT
2 rear caliper brackets

I have none of the attaching bolts etc.

What I think I need:
2 sn95 axles ( I plan on buying OEM newer bullet style rims, the ones they put on 02-03 GT's )
2 spindles ( sn95 I guess? probably 1995ish )
Some sort of ebrake crap
adjustable proportioning valve
front wheel bearings

Questions yet to be answered:
master cylander.... ?
connecting the calipers to the existing brake lines ( I always sucked at that )
Do I need new front struts when I do the conversion, as dont the struts bolt to the spindles and the 86ers are different....unless im loosing my mind, I havent looked at any of this yet.

Questions, comments, anything?

Thanks!

good choice on the bullits. i have a set on my 86 and i get a ton of compliments on them. one bit of advice if you are dead set on the sn95 axles, try not to lower the rear more than .5-.75 inches unless you want to roll the fenders. on big bumps and hard turns i will have a tire rub. scared the **** out of me the first time it happened.
