A "True 100% Stock Suspension" is worthless. (OK may 10 cents a pound at the scrapyard). Their are no Awards for it, It won't win you anything...Let It Go!
I only make 308rwhp and 337rwtq. After running BFG Dragradials all season long, I borrowed at set of Hoosier Qicktime Pro's from A friend. I didn't realize how well my suspension was until I put on a decent tire. After bogging my first two passes at 5500, I knew what I had to do.
The lights came down, I held it on the 6300rpm rev limiter, and let the clucth Fly. WALAA... 1.60 60' and a 11.97 shifting at 5800. Givin another run or two, I'm sure I could have made a couple suspension changes and gotten in the high 1.58-1.59 range.
I probaly have less money in my motor than I spent on my suspension. If I was to add another 100HP, this car would Fly....

I removed as much weight off the front as possible without gutting my car. I have front and back seats, but no rollbar.

I'm also a big believer in a Alum. Flywheel. It dosent rob as much power, and It helps hook the car up.
