Does anyone know where you can have the leather on a steering wheel repaired? I have a 1991 LX and the leather is in bad shape. I would like to have it fixed and still look like it did from the factory.

I saw the work of this guy on the net. I contacted him about some custom leather work (86 GT wheel, console pad, door inserts, etc.); seemed hungry and reasonable (very subjective). http://www.dallassteeringwheel.com/index.htm

there's a place called american stiches that did them for clublexus but I don't know if they'd do the ford wheels. I don't see why not......

That work looks great! Exactly like the ASC cars but probably alot cheaper than the $350 for a new wheel.
