I hate to even post this. I have had 5.955 Scat H beams for a 351W on back order for a couple of months, with no idea when they are actually coming, and I really need to put this engine together. Looking for any real world feedback ( please no opinions based on your thoughts, unless you actually have first hand knowledge of them), on SpeedMaster HBeam or even their Pro I Beam rods. Going in a 358 ci Windsor, stock stroke Scat 9000 crank, JE Pistons, 12:1 compression on E85. Bracket Racing engine that will turn 6500-6800 every pass. Had my hands on a set of SpeedMaster rods years ago, and machining was all over the place, but the forgings themselves didn’t look bad. ( I didn’t use them back then) . Just trying to decide if they’re worth messing with.

I just put together a 331 with there H beam rods. They were a few thousands tight on both ends so had to open them up some and were within 5 grams of each other on weight. Put them on a Scat crank and SRP pistons with Total Seal rings. Even used there 210cc aluminum heads I ported bare but put good valvetrain hardware and a nice Contour valve job done on a Newen CNC machine. With a mild solid roller it put down 430rwhp and pulls to 7k with no problem. Got about 3-400 street miles so far so good.
