Before you guys go on about how I should google for my answer let me say that ive read quite a few threads on the subject but prefer asking you guys directly. My 94 cobra starts up normal when cold but once she warms up she cranks very slow but will turn on within 2-3 seconds on 1st attempt. I read it could be a ground issue or a starter getting heat soaked. From experience what do you guys say?

My 95 Cobra has the same problem. Cranks just fine until the bbk long tubes cook the starter. I had the same problem on my 86 s10 with a 355 in it with long tubes, except it was much worse. The mustang will always start up on the first try, just with a delay, the s10..... turn it off and you had better be prepared to wait 10 minutes. I solved the problem in the s10 by using a remote mount solenoid. I think a starter wrap would be enough to solve the isse on my mustang.
