He may be doing a bypass setup and re-routing the belt. In that case, I know some of the 4v's come with a ribbed pulley that will bolt up and the single bolt tensioner 2v's have a ribbed idler that should bolt up. Even then, you can bypass power steering and a/c without a ribbed tensioner. Post up what you are trying to do and if you have a single bolt tensioner or a 3 bolt. We will get you fixed up.

That would be awesome, thanks. I looked up 2005 town car, and it seems to be smooth. This is what i found; f-250 seem to have a Dayco 89051 ribbed tensioner pulley but what i am wondering are the offset of the bearing and the sizes " diameter, width and so on" and if it will bolt right on?

I used PN#89051 when I did my bypasss. Its also the number for the v6 mustang idler as well.

However, I realized its the exact same as the idler on the front of the windsor 4.6l 2v. So I could have just reused the stock ribbed pulley that was on the front of the motor. but this way I got brand new everything, so I guess it's fine.

If you have a ribbed pulley that was on that motor, try it first before you buy anything new.

I went out and picked up the pulley you recommended. It fits perfectly, everything seems good but one thing, I should have thought this through when i was designing the diagram but im worried about The amount of belt wrap i have over my crank shaft pulley, it seems like its about half of what it use to have. Do you think i might have belt slip due to this factor. Yours seems very similar to mine besides that its not supercharged, Have you ran into these issues with this set up and whats your take on my situation.
