That's really cool............finding a decent set, or a set in general will be a pita, then finding new foam and skins. Again, that is a nice combo! they look pretty damn comfy too! Really sporty.

Too bad another, easier to find, luxury sport seat would be (or could be) able to fit. Like an Acura SH-awd F1 seat, or a CTS-V seat, or an MKS seat etc...

How much do you want to spend and how big are you? Those are the questions that will determine what to look at. If you are under 6'ish and weight less than 200lbs then you have a lot more options. If you are over 6' and are bigger than 200lbs then your options will be more limited. This really applies to aftermarket seats since stock style seats don't really have any substantial bolstering from Ford. One size fits all with factory seats as far as I have seen.

I went with Recaros. I have always been a fan after a freind of mine had Recaro A8 seats (which are no longer made) in his Mustang back in the late nineties. The Recaro Sportsters that I bought fit me and came in real leather. The downside was that they were not cheap. In fact they were not even close to cheap. They really belong in a Porche or a BMW.

If I was a bit smaller I would have considered some of the Sparcos because they were less and seemed pretty nice. I have seen a lot of Corbeau seats around here but i never looked at them. If you can find a local shop and sit in a few that will serve you well especially if you are planning on laying out 1k plus on seats.

Here is an installed pic:

Here's a pic of my cloth '95 seats with the headrest tilted a bit forward...

I have a set of grey halo headrests that I've been debating on dying black and installing for the past 5-6 years, but don't know if I really want to. The stock headrest gives good support while the halos really don't but they look cool
Thanks for posting the pic. Your seats are in great shape, and I love those headrests much better than the smaller, cheaper looking ones. I like the halo headrest idea btw.

Everyone seems to love the Hunsaker Synkro seats. $450ish for a nice cloth memory foam seat that does not look ricey.
I did a quick google image search, and these seats look ricey to me. For non ricey, I like the Corbeau GTS II, Recaros, etc.

01 Cobra seats are similar in design to the 03's, but usually go for a few hundred less. The Mach 1 seats are nice too, but usually go for around $800ish.
I will do a search for the 01 Cobra seats as well, thank you!. I do not believe I have seen the Mach seats. Something to look at.
I ran across some 2010 seats that need different tracks, I would have to swap them anyway if I retro fitted them into the SN95:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

How much do you want to spend and how big are you?
5'10 and a lean 230 (compliments of the army). So I can fit in a pretty skinny seat.
I really want something that is going to hug my sides when I hug the corners as well as provide a comfortable ride on those longer road trips to see my buddies hundreds of miles away.
Thanks for the pic, those look pretty awesome.

I am really torn on if I should spend the 1k on making my OEM power leather 95s new again, or if I should keep hunting for others. This sucks.........You guys seem to have a pretty good handle on what to get...........just finding them.

Those '05 seats look to have just as bad leg side bolsters as the '99-04. I hate having my butt slide around in the leather seat in my '02 when taking turns

I didn't realize the 95 sides came up so high until I compared them against the newer. Holy hell. I am starting to lean harder on just repairing mine. Still love to get some Cobras.

I'm running cobra daytona's, theyre pretty expensive, but they are a nice seat if you are looking for a good racing seat. The stock seats will deffinetly be more comfortable for longs trips though.
What is the difference between these and the Corbeau LG1? The base (sides) seem a little higher on the Cobras, but the rest looks the same. They are a little less or about the same price as the LG1s.

You could copy my idea and do something completely outside the box. Get a pair of front seats from a 2001 Jeep Cherokee (they only weigh 24lb each), have them retrimmed in your favorite color(s), modify the seat bases to accept the Mustang seat tracks, and bolt them in. They're super comfy on long drives and have much better lateral support than the stock seats. Mine look like this:

I also swapped a manual seat track on the driver's seat in place of the old broken electric unit so the total weight saving from stock was 30lb.

Awesome, we need some more ideas like this! I'm not sure if they would fit, but the Grand Cherokee seat are really comfortable.

I have a full set of Bullitt seats that I'd like to sell. If anybody is interested PM me and I can take some pictures of them. They are free of any holes lol

Like Donovan mention if you are a big guy your choices are pretty narrow. Even the wide version Corbeau seats are said to run narrow. For bolster support 03/04's are the best oem seats you can get. Not to mention the adjust-ability of termi seats grantee a comfy seat. I love 5 hour road trips where I can tilt the seat back and cruise. Or if I am in a "sporty" mode I can bring in the upper and lower bolsters so I keep from sliding.
Let's be honest 03 Cobra seats and FR500 steering wheel is all win

Those seats look pretty nice. I assume those are obsolete like the steering wheel?
