Please post your experience or comments regarding these heads.

Thanks.

I have not used the 180 cc heads, but have worked on multiple engines with the 200 cc heads. They made good power and did not have much in the form of problems.

I run the RHS 215's (ported) they seem to work fairly well....

I have used a couple sets, 215cc alum and 180cc iron.

Both had valvetrain issues. Had to use a sbc rocker to get it closer. Idk how anyone got close with a sbf rocker. Spent a lot of time trying to get it better, getting ride of them was the best decision I made. Just my 2 cents

Weird....I can't say anything regarding the 180's but the 215's I ran comp pro magnums for 3 years. 7,000 shift and 7,400 at the stripe. Now I run jesels, turning 7,900 at the stripe

I have the pro topline 180cc heads (which is now rhs) and the valve train geometry on mine is also hairy. I'm running Comp ultra gold roller rockers. I'm running them, but the geometry isn't great. I'm spinning 6500 no problem. But I'm not going higher haha. I'm not sure what the deal is with these heads

we initially tried the comp 4808s sbc guide plates that are recommended, but they weren't even close. Then tried sbf guide plates, no dice. put the isky adjustables on, spot welded them when we got the correct adjustment and they have been fine ever since. I run a +.200 valves and ford rockers.

I have a Brodix 17* head on my sbf +.100 valve stems. Always had trouble with the rocker roller tip on the outboard side of the valve tip. If I moved it to the center with a shorter pushrod the valvetrain geometry would be off. Going to a longer pushrod corrected the geometry on the valve tip side but pushed the witness mark to the outer edge. I tried Crower .050 1.6 and 1.65 sbc rockers. It corrected the witness mark on the valve tip bringing it to the center and narrow but it moved the pushrod cup inboard toward the intake manifold and away from the guideplate. If I remember right the 1.65 ratio SBC was better. Crower does not make a backset rocker for the ford
I've tried compcams and scorpion 1.6 sbf rocker arms and all had the roller tip to the outer edge.
I found a set of Miller rockers which put the roller rocker tip in the middle of the valve stem and the pushrod side was in the guideplate. These proved to be the best I have found and I've been working at this problem for a few years now.
