Hey all,

I read somewhere that the orientation of the lifter holes when installing new lifters in a block for a heads, cam, and intake swap does not matter.

Is this true? FWIW I will be installing the Ford Racing roller lifters in a production ford 302 block in my 90 mustang...

Thanks,
Andrew

Most seem to suggest installing the lifters with the hole towards the valley/center of engine or "up". When I took my old engine apart which was never messed with they were in randomly, which shows Ford doesn't specify a special way they are supposed to go. Doesn't matter in my book but you can put them all in facing up and feel good about it.
