I was looking at upgrading the the 6.2" impeller for $455. I emailed the guy and got a reply that most customers see about a 5psi increase with same pulley size by upgrading to that impeller.

this is the reply i got ...5psi is mabey on the high side

No, unfortunately I don't have the exact D1SC replacement, although the>> spiral cut is a definite upgrade, most report it improves low to mid>> range>> flow, usually by 2-3 psi, not sure how much it does on the high end.>>

Well, sounds like he didn't have any actual "pre" and "post" results. But this is the email response I got back in January:

"Yes, should be close to D1SC performance, I'm hoping to get some dynoresults back from other customers, maybe in a couple of months, but just guessing, I'd say at least a 5 psi increase..."

Just looking at the design and the fact that it's a significantly larger diameter ... it would have to make more boost. I'm just about ready to be the guinea pig.

Which impeller did you ask about? Just the cheaper spiral one for the P1SC or the largest one (6.2").

WAKE UP! I know how old the thread is and probably pissing in the wind but has anyone done this upgrade yet? It would be cheaper than upgrading to the D1SC thanks

I sent them an email hopefully they have some dyno results by now this would be an easy and cheap solution to the p1sc. I rebuilt my own Vortech V2 s trim on my last car and they are really easy and straight forward to work on..
