Man it just boggles me that some people try to make an 87-93 LX Coupe into a Bentley or something. The whole DAMN POINT is to be low-key and under the radar. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, some doofuses gotta install big-ass wings, 2-tone rainbow paint, fake rivet knock-off wheels, etc etc etc. How cheesy can we get!!!
i like it...

I see that this thread is fox body dominated, so I figured that I would throw my pos SN95 in the mix.

C springs, 1 full coil and 3/4s of the next coil cut from the rears, Tokico shocks/struts, mm c/c. The fronts do rub on hard bumps with my 275/35/18s, rolling the fenders would probably solve that problem. No problems with the rears.

........... people dillusionally fool themsleves into believing that they like the Ronald McDonald outcome .............
:eeek:

I started in with a little smiling paper-clip rib jab .. then it rapidly turned into a full on run-by kidney stab with a Bowie knife  :hammer:

the McDonalds paint was done AFTER I sold it and it actually looks better in person. Those wheels have been on the car since '99 and they were a new design then.

BTW here a set of similar wheels, from a recent thread. I dont see you bashing these. Besides this thread was about lowered Mustangs not about paint and wheels.

The roll bar is an M&M and I installed it on my own and it took around three hours to do.

That drop top is way clean!! Love the cheese grater taillights, I don't see those very often.

Here is my little pos. I dropped it 2 inches and that seemed to be perfect for getting rid of the monster truck like wheel gap. The only problem I have now is remembering to go slow over bumps and that I can't put my front bumper over curbs anymore.

Actually, I just noticed Gary lives in the area where that "Mcdonald" car is at. Hes probably seen it a few times. I was stationed at Willow Grove for 8 years.

Gary. If you want I can help out when I come back up there. My family(wifes side) lives in Warmnister .I'm taking leave and will be there the second weekend in June for about 2 weeks.

H&R Springs with isolators removed. Ride level is 26.5 inches to the top of the wheel arch all the way around.

Recently lowered w/: H&R Super Sport springs, Bilsteins all around, MM CC plates, new isolators all around, and pinion snubber. It rubs a little on full lock but not to bad at all. I'll sacrafice turning radius for the look. It rides absouletly great.

Did you use any kind of lub on the bushings?
Did you tighten down the bolts/nuts as you went or did you put every thing together then tighten everything down.

In both cases it could be the bushings.....
