How was fit finish? I know you bought the hood off Ebay, but are there any hints as to who actually made it?

The quality of the hood is amazing. Its very thick and solid. The body shop guy said the finish was great. I had to shim the fenders to get them to match the height of the hood, but that wasnt too hard. I also shimmed the hood latch a little so it latches better. The only problem with the fit is the line between the fender and the hood is a little big on the driver side, but im sure i could fix it if i spend the time to do so.

The guy who made it is the one who hosts the auction, he makes the molds himself and lays the fiberglass. He did an excellent job on it.

I really like the design of the hood, in fact, I've been looking at one of those hoods offered by "mustang-hoods" on E-Bay.

I wondered if you might have a straight-on shot level with the hood from the front of the car instead of all the angled shots...like from the pony emblem up.

The hood looks in the pictures like it's a little short on the front and rear not meeting up with the front fender lines above the parking lights and then in the rear not meeting up with the fender lines where the hood transistions to the cowl...but maybe just the way I'm looking at it. (edit: just re-read your above post, sorry)

Awesome hood though, definately unique!

SS

PS...I got the impression these were actually Age Classic hoods (ageclassic.com). Same part of Texas, same hoods and pictures used on E-Bay as their website, maybe I'm wrong...
