something I've been wanting to do. Stick shift index car. Have 85 coupe to do it with, and an old 5.4 navigator engine that I might do it with. People are saying it won't work. Keep telling me that and I will try harder until it does. It went 6.30's with a really mild 347 so I think I can. just gotta find a trans and clutch and then save up for FOUR camshafts. Ed those pictures are giving me more motivation to make this work. I need to go visit my brother and see if he's still got that old Liberty stashed in the corner.

Very nicely done.. Any reason such a sharp bend where the air filter mounts to the inlet pipe?

If you look at it in reverse - coming from the blower to the filter, the flow makes sense with the bottom of the very wide oval pipe opening up directly into the round diameter of the filter. I'm not sure why the filter is sitting behind the radiator, or for that matter in the engine bay at all but:

A: The shorter, larger path to this type blower, the better.
B: Ed is a very smart guy
C: Don't think he makes custom inlets pipes without some math behind it.
D: Maybe not the first one he made for this.

That intake tube looks like the diameter of an emergency spillway at Hoover Dam.
