I am looking for a EFI (MPFI) intake manifold for a 351W. Will consider anything, just let me know what you got. Its going on a classic bronco so not needing anything super high flowing. I have a 5.8L Lightning lower intake that I would be willing to trade if necessary. I have a set of FTI 11R-190 heads on the engine and dont think the lightning will flow enough, but correct me if Im wrong. Let me know what you got!!!

I emailed Tmoss about porting the upper and lower intake. He said it isnt worth it and that the upper is the bottleneck and the work isnt worth the reward. I have FTI custom cam and FTI built 11R 190 heads. It is in a 69 Ford Bronco and was built for low end torque so no high rpm driving. Maybe the unported lightning will do the job, guess ill find out, all 351w EFI manifolds are sold out with no availability dates listed.

I'm confused by your post. A Lightning lower flows almost 290 CFM unported. You never mentioned an upper so what are you trying to accomplish? Kenne Bell, box upper...??? You could track down an Edelbrock Performer but it will only marginally outflow a GT40 upper and lower, but because if it's design, it can be ported more easily to increase the total flow. You can look at Pro M for the carb style EFI intake and top it with a 4 hole TB for a carb look or an elbow with a single blade TB for a more modern look.

I have a GT40 style upper from a 2000 explorer. I am replacing a edelbrock performer that was ported by Tmoss with a Fitech TB type efi. I am going to MPFI with a Terminator XMAX ecu and EDIS. I am thinking I will lose some power becuase the stock lightning will not flow as much as what I was previously using. Again, I am just assuming this and am open to advice. I am using some Ed Curtis built TFS 11R 190 heads and Ed Curtis custom cam that was designed for low end torque in a 69 Bronco. I just dont want to choke the heads with a intake that will kill the flow. Let me know you thoughts.

Lower #3884 is in stock on Edelbrock.com. Performer 5.8L Base Intake Manifold Small-Block Ford

I ordered one in April and just received (Through Summit). This paired with an Eddy or Typhoon upper (used) may get you closer but won't be drop in like the Eddy 3881. Would need TB, EGR spacer (if desired), and I'm sure a few other tweaks I am leaving out.
Do they sell a new upper that pairs with that lower that’s in stock. What did you buy for an upper?

The only "new" eddy upper is the truck one but it's not available at present.

An eddy Performer or Performer RPM will fit the lower I linked or the Typhoon which is a Performer RPM clone. These are only available used. They do require car style TB with a few other tweaks. Just FYI the uppers are the same between 5.0/5.8.

Ebay link to one for sale. Photo below is essentially what I am going for.

Thanks for sending, by the time I got to the eBay listing it was sold. Let me know if you run into another one. That would have been ideal.

With this you'd need car style TB and a throttle cable and bracket combo that works with a driver side orientation if that's what you're thinking.

Engrmstr bracket and cable should presumably do the trick. Car TB shouldn't be hard to source.
