Here's the deal i did my 408 swap and all seems good. i drive for about 20 minutes, and i start lossing fuel pressure. the rpm's start to drop and it will eventually die. i stop let the bowels fill for about 2 minutes, then i can drive it again. it will drive for about 2 minutes, then die again. I just had my pump overhauled from mallory. I flow tested the pump when the car was cold and after it did the low fuel die thing...i.e hot. it flowed the same amount. So i believe the pump is good.

I have a jegs fuel pressure regulator set at 6psi. a mallory 140 pump and this is a return style set up. i am using really large fuel lines because i got them for free. the supply line is an AN-10 and the return is an AN-10 that reduces down to an AN-8 the last 6". I have a filter right before the pump, and i have a clear filter right before the carb.

everything points to vapor lock, but i keep feeling the lines and they don't feel hot. once the issue starts happening the PSI drops on the fuel pressure guage that is mounted on the AFPR. i try to crank the pressure back up, and it won't build higher then 5ish. i know the lines are really big, but would too large of lines cause this? any ideas? i could really use some help, i want to drive this thing.
