Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and have inherited a 1992 mustang gt. I am in the process of getting it road worthy and through my research on this site I found out about LAR Performance. It seems most companies have stopped making off road H pipes so I decided to order one from LAR. I just installed the pipe and wanted to share my experience. The pipe fabrication is really nice and the fit is great. I used the H pipe with a flowmaster force 2 cat back everything fit pretty well. There was some adjustment needed as with all exhaust systems, but overall am very happy with the setup. LAR Performance is a great company to order from and there communication is very good. If anyone is looking for an off road h pipe give them a chance.

I would actually delete this.

EPA is cracking down on manufacturers making any sorts of off-road pipes. Since the big names stopped making them a lot of little companies popped up to make them, and now they are becoming the targets of the EPA.

I know you want to spread the word of a great product, but all this does is paint a target on their back.

Can anyone else hear those photos? The classic stockish fox with H-pipe and Flowmasters. Memories....

The car is completely stock even had the snorkel and stock exhaust. My father in law bought it brand new. It has 90000 original miles. It has sat for 15 years under a tarp with some water leaks in the interior, so rust has set in on the floor pans. Luckily the torque boxes, and strut towers are okay. I am in the process of a mild restore to use as a driver not a show car.

Haven't been on here in awhile so can't PM you, but was curious to know if you went with the stainless or aluminized? Did the h-pipe come with hangers, a pipe for the smog hose? Lastly, happy with your purchase and does it sound good? Thanks in advance!

Hello ras50gt. I purchases the stainless h pipe since they are becoming harder to find and I wanted it to last. There are no provisions for the smog pump after all it is "off road" and most people have removed the smog pump by now. LAR told me that the pipe doesn't need hangers since it doesn't have cats and is much lighter than the stock pipe. I however made some hangers since the trans mount had provisions. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the car sounds great.
