i run 90/10's on the street and a full drag launch kit i with no sway bar i did not mind it it drove good a little slopy in the corners but hey its perpose built sort off, plus any punk that wants to go from a stop light theres alsorts of weight transfer so these = hook up on cold tires lol

 

Mine drive good, with the stock 4cyl springs.

 

i heard they are a lil floaty on the street so i went with strange 10 ways just got them in the mail today but my opinion they are piles a lol. the plastic knob thingy to adjust them was broke off of mine when i opened the box. pretty cheep if u ask me. might end up going with the 90/10's

Dont do it. Call Strange, theyll either exchange them for you or send you a new knob. I dont think youre going to find a single person that will tell you to get rid of the adjustables and go back to a Lakewood.

 

I'm using Lakewood 90/10 struts with BBK lowering springs on my GT and they work fine. When i drive over the railroad crossing near my neighborhood, it's no problem. Curvy roads are not perfect, but tolerable. These struts are for launching hard, though, so you need to remember that.

 

For an average streetcar they work Perfect and ride like a lincoln.I used them with stock cut springs and the ride was better than stock, the car drove well and the car did fine in curves if you didn't take them too fast.I had Absolutely no problems with them and no front swaybar on the street.

 

i just custom fit them to a coilover suspenion so ill see what the ride will be..lol

I don't think a chute would pass VA state vehicle inspection!

why not? Do they have a law saying you cant have a chute on a car? that would be a very unusual law. I would think it would be legal as long as it does not cover the plate

 

I'll check. I do know that a 2 1/4" cowl hood is ILLEGAL in VA on Mustangs 1992 and later. Then it can only be 1 1/8". Cobra R hood in VA is illegal. But, you can be missing your hood completely. That's OK. Stupid.

 

Well . . that has to do with visibility. A chute won't block your view.
