I heard this, but Steeda says no. I have been on the phone with Steeda, and Dennis Reinhart. I feel that both kits are good, basically Steeda just talked shiit about Reinharts kit. Its still up in the air now on what I should do, although Im leaning towards Reinhart.

Its not that you cant go below 1/4 tank, its just that its not advisable. The reason for this is that the fuel pump included with the kit sucks through the last 1/4 tank of gas REALLY really fast. I know this for a fact because I had this pump on my car when I had my Procharger on there and if you got below 1/4 tank, you better find a gas station quick! Its really unbelievable how fast it does it until you are sitting on the side of the road =P

I've read several times that it's not advised to go into boost with less than 1/4 tank with the steeda kit. There will always be a chance of the fuel sloshing and causing fuel delivery problems.

But on the other hand, I dont think it would be very smart to go into boost at less than 1/4 tank with the reinhart kit either (unless you also have the 03 cobra tank or add baffles in your existing tank).

Even with the cheap prices it's still too expensive! hah. I've been driving mine A LOT lately and gas is starting to add up. Need to get my beater up and running then I won't worry about it anymore. Oh how i miss the $0.90 cent gas days..

Very sure about it. Corners great. Try it. I'm not the first to do it. Do a search, there's a few of us ;-)
Well, Nitto does make a Road Course tire. That would seem like the logical choice for cornering, rather than a DR.

I have yet to have a problem with the Steeda Pump (although I have only had it for about 2500 miles.) It works great provided you stay in the recomended HP range. I am thinking about either going to a Cobra Setup or to a return style setup if anyone is interested in the Steeda. Check Sig if interested.

Hey Black01...

Your recent thread:
"I suck at driving, someone help me out.."

WTF? Doesn't look like you are in a position to judge anybody, does it? How'd ya get so many posts, in the lounge?
F'in Kook.

Calvert,
Thanks for checking on that. It is a bit unusual, and now they do offer the -2 for road racing. Prior to that, a few guys ran 'em on all four corners. To be honest, I'm no autocrosser, but I wound up with two 245 DRs so I'm running them in the front, with
a pair of 275s in the back. The car is not a daily driver, and it seems to work well so far. Nice result is matching tread pattern front to rear.
