Throw down a nice bead of ultra black rtv or the right stuff and skip the end seals.

Ford used, literally, millions of the silcone end seals like in the linked gasket set. If you have a set, use them. You will still need RTV at the corners. If you don't have a set, use the RTV like stated.

 

The 1262's I ordered have the corks in them, I was hoping the rubbers were available separately. Oh well.

 

Just run by a parts house and buy a set of stock FelPro manifold gaskets.
The silicone end gaskets are worth the extra expense.

 

The best way is throw away the end gaskets and use silicone. What do you think the Felpro china wall gaskets are made of? Use the Right Stuff. Will never even weep oil if done correctly.

 

Also keep in mind the required thickness of said gasket changes. Different heads, manifold , block or any machine work can effect that.
