Do I have to uninstall the engine mounts to get to the bolts? I have an exhaust leak from the headers that are installed and both sides are leaking at the engine bay. Any tips. I'm guessing the previous owner used the paper gaskets that came with the headers they installed

Before you get too deep into the repair, look carefully to see if the studs are broken off at the head. The 4.6L engines were notorious for snapping the header studs which would cause an exhaust leak that caused the engine to make a ticking noise. If the studs are broken off then you'll need a removal kit to get the remains of the damaged stud out. With that cramped engine bay it can be a real PITA. If that's the case you may need to jack the engine up to repair everything.
