Anybody know where I can get a hula dancer with boobies that light up for my dash. Thought it would make a nice shift light.

Cant help but LOL at that!

I'm about to head down to Nashville TN for a shoot in a couple hours, does anybody know if there are roads closed due to construction or water i should avoid? like 65?

Well, add my cobra to the broken cobra list. Snapped an axle on my first ET street pass... :crying:
Dayum! I missed that part. I only saw you getting ready to put them on :eeek:

Matt - that is great news about your buddy. We are all praying that today's news is even better.

Jason - that sucks but I guess it falls inline with this years theme of black cobras. Those 28-spline axles don't take much beating. Did you make any DR passes before that?

One more day with the dry heat here in SoCal and then back to Indy. I am ready to come home!!!

I would love to hear the story behind this.

Ed, this is ed your brother do you still have the frame of that jeep. I got me an engine from the truck that used to tow a racecar. So its got racing heritage. Wonder if cousin ed has any sheetmetal left from his roof repair. I saw some lights forsale at aunt edna's yard sale. The pawn shop in eddington had some slicks sitting out front. I think I can build me a real live drag car.

What's crazy is that thing runs like a low 12 or high 11. Can't remember for sure. I do remember seeing that damn thing with a BBC in it and moving pretty good.

No hula girl, but hartman told me about this company.

I am going to get the one at the bottom of the page and stick it in a vent.

John said the one at the top of the page has its only thousand and hundreds rpm limits switch for use with stock tachs. Plus its the side of a pen and about 3" long.

He said he mounted it in the cobra just above the rearview mirror with velcro. Most people didn't even see it.

Poor fishbob

I think his stock options went from Corvette to hyundai.

That stock market closing must of felt like a swift kick in the nuts.

Its like when I transferred funds from a old 401K into by new 401K to not get docked by the IRS. Then 6 months later I lose more than if I took the hit.

Not as bad as around the millenium when my inheritance went from me retiring at 55 to now 65.

Would of had 12 more years to go to do nothing.

Well I wish I had better news today. But he fought all he could fight and he is now gone. His brain activity ceased sometime from yesterday evening to this morning, they pronounced him brain dead around 7:45am today. He is still hooked up to life support as they are preparing for the organ donation. We still get to go back there and see him, which helps and hurts at the same time. We are all gonna miss him.

I just want to thank you guys again for all the prayers and thoughts, it really helped out a lot.

I have never had any luck leaving a good cross hatch using a stone with a drill.
That's the good info I was looking for. If you are not comfortable doing it the "shade tree" way, then neither am I.

Hopefully the cylinders arent too egg shaped or tapered too badly and I will be able to ball hone the cylinders and just re-ring. New pistons are too damn expensive.

Thanks John!

They are great. I have one in the Mach and love it. I mounted it on the steer column next to the hazard switch. I am planning on getting on for the Cobra as well.

Does anyone have or know of someone that has a car trailer that I can rent for about 10 days? We are going to Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week the end of July and want to trailer the cobra down there. I can get a 3/4 ton truck but need a trailer. I have no issue carrying insurance for it was well. Please let me know. Frank, you got an extra one???

Sorry to hear that Matt. He is in a better place now.

Larry, it was my first pass but i didn't realize i was broke until I was on the return road. I thought biasplys swayed that much on the big end, but in fact some of that was my axle being held in only by my caliper =X. So, I was REALLY lucky. I thought it felt a bit weird on the launch, and I only cut a 1.818 and ran a 13.15. I am RIGHT there if I get a decent launch.

Frank - Is tomorrow after work OK to come down to frankland and pick up the stuff. I will be off around 4:30 and pending on traffic down there around 5:30 or so.

Steve - Thanks for starting the wiring and whoa its amazing how much wiring 4 gauges and ignition box causes.

Project - Steve started the wiring, I worked on the vacuum lines, redid my return fuel line with a new 45 degree fitting to make clearance for the Fuel pressure sender. Since I redid it I used my special push on clamps that I didn't use the first time. So now everything has 650 PSI burst insurance instead of 300. I think the whole project name should just be "OverKill", its built like dang race car.

Larry - Can I borrow your LC1 Instructions and did you get the gauge too any chance I can have the machined bezel? I will download instructions tomorrow at work.

Just about to order the raptor.

Since I had collector non-running insurance, I need to switch it to running. But I gotta get the interior in first to send in my pics. They told me the other day the agreed upon value has to be what I would basically get for the car if I sold it or what I could get simular in cost. So the $17K I have in in is probably more like $12k selling. Basically if it got stolen and I could buy a 93 cobra low miles or Saleen coupe I would call it even ($12K~$18K).
