I think we are all tired of the BS weather. 50 degrees one day, melting all the snow and ice into soup. -5 icestorms and 4+ inches of snow the next. It's ridiculous, it's unnerving, it's INDIANA!!!!!!!!!!!! It's time for warm weather by any means neccessary!!!!!!!!!!!

I am with you John!!! It needs to warm up and dry up because this weather is annoying. The only thing good about it is that it makes me feel a little better that the car is not quite ready to go yet.

No summer No peace.

Why do I have images of hippys with flowers in their hair when I read that.

Ordering my Maf programmer tonight. It is its own little computer which allows you download injector files to it. So the LMAF can give exact detail instead of a ballpark. Also allows you to modify manually. Also I can run anything from 19#'s to 60#'s injectors.

Also need to get the single wire alternator harness.

I am also contemplating getting the voodoo aeromotive elec. FMU.

Now wait before you burn me and tell me programming is the only way to go.

My ignition is for Boost which runs off a 3 bar map that allows me to digitally set up its retard tables. (which a chip usually does), Maf computer, (more what a chip could do) FMU controls added a fuel after boost is added. The aermotive FMU controls the pump supplying the fuel, not squeezing the fuel line like a mechanical fmu. It also allows you to program the flat spot when the car goes from vacuum to boost and creates a lean condition.

Also since I have the Mr. Freeze I was wanting a flip chip which was more money and more program time. Without a chip I could drive without meth and then when I go to the track or need to smackdown bob or larry. I change the retard on the ignition and the meth. Or add a bigger Meth injector and crack a block. (#1 pill is intercooling, #2 & #3 is horsepower adder.)

So I am going to chevy dealer to get a price on some syncromesh fluid. Any bets on what it cost a quart? Google says $12

I am thinking $18 at the dealer.

Oh its lunch time and man I wish I brought some brownies I made. Man these things are awesome. The hershey icing melted and soaked into the brownie. I also added additional egg to make it more cake like. 15 seconds in the microwave and oh gawd its like o gazm for your mouth.

If its anything like mine its garble garble garble. Noise was so violent my microphone couldn't record it.

Snycro fluid $$

Chevy dealer $18.95 quart
Tom Wood Pontiac $14.00 quart.

I saved $4.95 driving less half mile from dealer to dealer.

Do you realize that a new z06 is $79,880 and if you wear blue jeans and a nautica jacket salesman won't even see you.

Anyone look at the size of the caliper on the rear of a new Z06, its bigger than the Cobra R brembo. I mean if Z06's came with submarine belts, then a cup for the gentlys would be required.

Most tuners don't want to take the time to program mafs to match injectors. They would rather have a maf the matches your injectors to begin with. So that cost is equal. Digital boost retard ignition box came with my blower tuner kit that AFM sells. So the cost would come down between chip/dyno = aeromotive fmu. I can get the fmu for $300. The chip alone cost $250 for a single and $300 for a dual. Initial dyno time is $300 plus $50 every hour after that. Flip chip requries to tunes so I was expecting around $600. Then trailer rent fee $60, fuel and time during week day.

Since its not going to be a daily driver, figure I could save $750 or so in expenses.

Larry - I shouldn't have problem smacking you down with 500hp. My car weighs 500-600 lbs lighter. Plus your car breaks all the time, my odds are good. :D

Now I know why Chris was thinking hippies with flowers in their hair because it looks like he is enjoying a lil of the wacky grass at lunch today. He is so far gone that he even said something about putting the smackdown on ol' yeller! LOL!!! Now, that $h!t is FUNNY!!!

Was I the one that said something about living on the southside??? Damn, I knew better than to open my mouth. I am not even sure how I am going to get home if it keeps this up.

Steve - yeah, my vid looks good but the sound is AWFUL!!! It is not 'til the very end of the vid that you can even distinguish the lope of the cams.

If you want to fire it up in the morning before you start putting it back together I can bring a better camera up there to tape with!

Yeah, Steve I guess you do only have 1 cam. I was not thinking. I have to keep reminding myself you went back to the ol' pushrod motors!

Chris's comment was not that funny!!! Maybe good for one smiley but 3??? I see the breaks as improvements and strengthening the car or it could be a jigsaw puzzle! I don' know!

Suspension Help

Need some help with a suspension problem.

I have the Eibach Pro Kit installed with the Tokico Blue's on my '00GT. I've had this set up for about 2 yrs. I've now noticed that my car leans to the drivers side. The drivers side is a 1/2" lower (front and back) than the passenger side. I've had the guys at Automotive Specialists in Noblesville check it out and they weren't able to find anything wrong with the setup. Has anyone ever come across anything like this or know of a solution?

Hey man i actually have the same problem in my 01 Cobra. Although my problem is that the front Eibach drivers spring has broke. I was putting new CC plates on and found a 3 inch piece of the spring just lying there in the craddle. So you may check your craddle and see if it is the same thing. with that 3 inch piece broken off it made the spring about a 1/2" or so shorter than normal. just my .02.

Gary dropped me a pm. Remember the guy with the black edge convertible that last thing was doing was side pipes. Guess he owns a '02 Vette and feels he is not allowed to join back in. Well I told him he is not the only trader. :D He is more than welcome.

Steve exhaust, its a few decibels quieter at idle then open headered, but ripping the throttle sounds like pure racecar. Its not as bad as bobs once was, but close.
