Umm I eventually want to put a different block in it and turbo it.. but right now I am just going to do heads cam and intake after if fix the little grimlins it has of course.. but yeah a super cool first car at a killer deal

 

Good plan. Good heads really wake up the 302 and they love boost. You can get crazy with a dart block. Just know they are on back order and i believe it's taking a year to get one if ordered today.

 

Yeah a new block isn’t happening for a while lol. Or turbos right now I’m trying to find a t5 for it to make the car manual again.

 

The TKO is no longer being built by Tremec as it was replaced by the TKX
TKX is a smaller 5 speed externally designed to fit into more cars than the bulkier TKO
Its internals are more related to the Magnum 6 speed and is a much better shifting transmission than the TKO

 

Ohh ok makes sense that was my plan latter one in it s life
