I've been racing this Ford Racing M-6007-XB3M crate motor for quite some time.
Heads are GT-40 M-6049-X303
I have been looking at Comp Cams Valve Springs for an upgrade.
Comp Cams Mustang Dual Valve Springs; 0.590-Inch Max Lift 987-16 (85-95 5.0L, 5.8L Mustang) - Free Shipping (americanmuscle.com)
The site above says they will work. Does anyone have any experience using these?
And will they work with B-303 hydraulic roller cam. Comp Cams tech said they are for flat tappet, or small hydraulic cam?
He couldn't guarantee it would.
Thanks for any help!

MIght be time to get with someone more qualified than a customer service rep.
343# isn't that much with a 1.4" spring.

Does the Alex's spring kit business have a customer service to help with choices or the installation? I've only been on the site looking at kits to replace stock springs on one GT40P head. I would expect them to have better priced spring kits, and better choices than the big brands(for popular common heads).

I contacted Comp Cams. They said,
"Yes, valve springs kit part# GT40CS-KIT will work great with the b303 cam specs. "
Then I asked for installation instruction and they said,

"Valve spring kit part# GT40CS-KIT is a drop in valve spring kit for the ford gt40 heads. No machine work is required when used on a gt40 head. We do not have instructions for this kit because it is a valve spring drop in kit and install is straightforward. "

I have no clue on how to do it? Lash ? Valve spring pressure etc..
Any help would be great!
Thanks!

I'd be looking at alexsparts. There is a number to call on their site. I called with questions about my springs before buying them and they were able to answer my questions and made suggestions.
