Have 07 GT also have SCT X3 with bama 93 race tune. The other day I was fooling with the SCT and see all the options I am able to change, was wondering if changing the timing is worth anything as it was with my 92 5.0.
I know they are two completely different animals, but was wondering if changing the timing in the 07 will have any positive results?

I use only 93 oct. fuel due to the tune I am running. Just wanted to know what other options I can change and what the results will be? I know the bama tune is excellent! and have noticed tremendous difference between that and stock setup. Just want to see what I can change?

Other tunes I have from bama are 93 Torque and an 87 tune, have only used the 93 race tune. Car is 5 speed with only JLT cold air intake.

Thanks for any advice!

Better yet, take it to the dyno, add timing or subtract, and see what yields the best power. Use something to datalog ignition timing based on your changes to make sure they are doing what you expect. There are alot of tables in the stock ECU that limit the amount of ignition timing the car will actually run, regardless of whether you change the global adder or not.

Power to be gained on that car would just be from tweaking the a/f, best power will be made around 13-13.2 at wot...yes they like it a little on the lean side.

Adding spark on that car won't help as its probably optimized already and too much the KS will just pull it out.
